Introducing Search Engines Elements

Address bar

the bar in a web browser where we type the adress of website we want to visit. You can directly use the adress bar as search box to search for something.

Keyword ( search term/phrase, query)

the terms/words/phrases that we type in search engine box or web browser to search for something.

For example: if we are looking to buy mobile online, then we can type "mobile phone for sale online"" and click search. here "mobile phone for sale online"  is the keyword/key phrase


Monthly Search volume
if a keyword (for example, "mobile phone for sale online") is searched by many users for 100 times in a month, then the keywords monthly search volume (SV) is 100.
Audience
Your blog visitor, readers/traffic are called audience.

Total search results

The amount of results google/search engine generate when a keyword is searched.


SRP (search Result Page)

The page that appears right after searching for a keyword on a search engine is called SRP (Search Result page).



Meta title Vs Title

The title of your blog/post that appears on SRP is called meta title. 

The title of your blog/post that appears inside your blog above the post is called title (post title). 

When you hover your mouse on the tab the meta title will pop up. like in the image below.
Both meta title and title are under your control.
